Photography Workshops in Prague & Bohemia
From April through October, I will lead small-group photography workshops across the Czech Republic, focusing on Prague, Český Krumlov, and the Bohemian countryside. These workshops are designed for photographers who want to move beyond postcards, exploring real life, atmosphere, and the quieter rhythms of one of Europe’s most layered regions.
Like my Transylvania Photography Tour, these workshops are built around small groups (4 to 6 participants), personal mentoring, and access to authentic places away from tourist routes.
Highlights
Prague
Early mornings on Charles Bridge before the crowds, hidden courtyards in Malá Strana, historic marketplaces, and night sessions along the river.
Český Krumlov
Soft evening light over the Vltava bend, intimate alleyways, reflections in stone bridges and river curves.
South Bohemia
Villages such as Holašovice, Rožmberk, or Slavonice, where history, vernacular architecture, and local life offer space for quiet, attentive photography.
Bohemian Forest
Misty valleys, old chapels, forest paths, and a landscape that rewards patience and atmospheric timing.
What to Expect
Workshops run for 5, 6, or 7 days depending on the session.
We work in the field during early mornings and evenings when the light is most expressive.
Afternoons are reserved for editing, discussion, and individual mentoring focused on composition, pacing, sequencing, and visual storytelling.
Workshops are suitable for all levels. Participants should be comfortable walking with light gear and engaging with the environment in a thoughtful, observant way.
