2 Days / 2 Nights
Best for clients with limited time who want the strongest locations.
Base
Rovinj (recommended)
Day 1 – Arrival and Coastal Introduction
Afternoon arrival in Rovinj and initial orientation walk.
This first session is intentionally gentle. The goal is not volume, but calibration, understanding how you see, how you work, and preparing for the days ahead.
We explore:
Rovinj old town textures
Harbour geometry and reflections
Elevated viewpoints over the Adriatic
Sunset and blue hour session in Rovinj, when the town becomes visually exceptional.
Dinner break and optional night photography.
Day 2 – Hill Towns and Interior Istria
Early departure before sunrise.
Sunrise in Motovun, one of the most photogenic hill towns in Europe. Elevated position, strong structure, and frequent atmospheric conditions including fog and layered light.
After sunrise and morning session:
Exploration of Motovun streets and viewpoints
Mid morning session in Grožnjan, quiet, intimate, ideal for composition and visual discipline
Optional short stop at Lim Fjord viewpoint depending on conditions
Return to Rovinj for sunset session or rest depending on client energy.
Day 3 – Departure
Optional sunrise session in Rovinj before departure.
This format delivers the strongest coastal and hill town locations in a compact structure.

Complete Istria Photographic Experience
3 Days / 3 Nights
Recommended format. Ideal balance of depth and intensity.
Base
Rovinj (primary) or combination Rovinj + interior
Day 1 – Rovinj and Coastal Foundations
Afternoon introduction and orientation session in Rovinj.
Focus on:
Reading light and shadow
Anticipating moments
Building stronger compositions
Sunset and blue hour photography in Rovinj.
Optional night session.
Day 2 – Motovun, Grožnjan, and Interior Villages
Early departure.
Sunrise in Motovun.
This session focuses on:
Atmospheric landscape photography
Layered compositions
Working with elevation and distance
After breakfast break, continue to Grožnjan.
Grožnjan offers quiet streets, textures, and intimate scenes ideal for developing observational discipline.
Continue toward Pićan, one of Istria’s most refined and overlooked hill towns.
Pićan offers expansive views and a slower pace, ideal for deeper compositional work.
Return to Rovinj.
Sunset session or rest depending on conditions and energy.
Day 3 – Coastal Landscapes and Alternative Perspectives
Flexible day based on conditions.
Options include:
Sunrise Rovinj from alternative vantage points
Cape Kamenjak coastal landscapes
Lim Fjord elevated viewpoints
Pula architecture and urban compositions
Sunset in Rovinj or alternative coastal location.
Day 4 – Departure
Optional sunrise session.
This format provides comprehensive visual coverage of Istria’s most compelling photographic environments.

Istria Photographic Immersion
5 Days / 5 Nights
Full experience designed for serious photographers.
This format allows revisiting locations under different conditions, which is essential for producing portfolio level images.

Multiple sunrise and sunset sessions in key locations including:
Rovinj
Motovun
Grožnjan
Pićan
Lim Fjord
Coastal cliffs and lesser known locations
